theory building blueprint for learning
As my understanding of the learning process changes so too does this Blueprint. It is called Thinking in Motion because learning is always evolving. The original Blueprint was first introduced at the Moving Parts Exhibit. The most recent version has language adjustments including a new focus on the role of Spontaneous Inquiry!

Original Blueprint – MARCH 2016
OBSERVE – Look closely. Notice patterns. REFLECT – Think deeply, allow time and space to process ideas. Unpack the layers of learning. FORECAST – What might happen next? Predict and prepare, but remain open to actual outcomes. INVITE – Set the stage for creative learning – taking the properties of materials and presentation into account. PROVOKE – Poke at the subconscious with a statement or question that lingers during playful exploration. DOCUMENT – Capture as much as possible in the moment, using any medium at your disposal – your mind, camera, pen. OBSERVE – Begin again. |
